Perbandingan Efektivitas Mesin Gilingan Susunan 3 Rol dan 4 Rol dengan Penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) di PT. PG. Candi Baru Sidoarjo
Abstract
Penambahan 1 rol pada susunan rol mesin gilingan di unit gilingan I dan IV (menjadi susunan 4 rol) sebagai upaya peningkatan kapasitas giling telah dilakukan, oleh karena itu informasi mengenai efektivitas pada masing-masing susunan rol sangat dibutuhkan. Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) sebagai alat ukur efektivitas dalam implementasi TPM banyak diterapkan di Jepang. Pengukuran efektivitas dilakukan pada perbandingan mesin gilingan susunan 3 rol dan 4 rol menggunakan metode OEE, selanjutnya mengkaji besarnya kontribusi penyebab rendahnya efektivitas pada efektivitas terkecil dari perbandingan tersebut menggunakan metode Six Big Losses. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, nilai efektivitas antara mesin gilingan susunan 3 rol dan 4 rol telah memenuhi standar. Namun dari perbandingan, mesin gilingan susunan 3 rol mempunyai nilai efektivitas terkecil dengan rata-rata 96,434% dimana rata-rata nilai availability 99,076%, performance efficiency 97,815% dan rate of quality product 99,514%. Serta faktor six big losses yang berkontribusi besar terhadap rendahnya efektivitas yaitu pada reduced speed losses.
